Excelled in the springboard diving events again
Opted to utilize an eligibility extension and return for the 2021-22 season
Overcame a mid-February back injury to qualify for the NCAA Championships in both springboard events, advancing for the third time at Purdue and fourth time during his college career
Placed fifth on 1-meter at NCAAs to earn his first career full-fledged All-America honor
Runner-up in 3-meter synchro with longtime friend Grayson Campbell at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials
Also competed individually on 3-meter at the Olympic Trials, advancing to the semifinal
• Still managed to account for 31 team points at the Big Ten Championships as a consolation finalist in both events even while diving injured
Ranks second among active Boilermakers with 144 team points in his career at Big Tens

Joined Olympians David Boudia and Steele Johnson as the only Boilermaker to win Big Ten Diver of the Week five times in one season; was also the league’s first diver to accomplish the feat since Johnson in 2016-17
Posted his season-best score (448.20) on 3-meter while winning the Big Ten title by 33.95 points
Also was the only diver to record a 400-point list in the 3-meter prelims at Big Tens
