Theria (/ˈθɪəriə/; Greek: θηρίον, wild beast) is a subclass o mammals[1] that gie birth tae live young wioot uisin a shelled egg, consistin o the eutherians (includin the placental mammals) an the metatherians (includin the marsupials). The anly omittit extant mammal group is the egg-layin monotremes.
