César Augusto Gaviria Trujillo (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈsesaɾ ɣaˈβirja]; born 31 March 1947) is a Colombian economist and politician. He was the 28th President of Colombia from 1990 to 1994 under the Colombian Liberal Party.

Gaviria was born on 31 March 1947 in Pereira, Risaralda. He studied at the University of the Andes until 1969.
