César Augusto Gaviria Trujillo (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈsesaɾ ɣaˈβirja]; born 31 March 1947) is a Colombian economist and politician. He was the 28th President of Colombia from 1990 to 1994 under the Colombian Liberal Party.[1]

Gaviria was born on 31 March 1947 in Pereira, Risaralda. He studied at the University of the Andes until 1969.
