Raul Khajimba (Abkhaz: Рауль Ҳаџьымба, Georgian: რაულ ჰაჯიმბა; born 21 March 1958) is the 4th and current President of Abkhazia. He was elected in 2014 after the May Revolution.
Khajimba was also Chairman of the Forum for the National Unity of Abkhazia from 2010 to 2015. Khajimba was the Vice President (2005–2009), Prime Minister (2003–2004) and Defence Minister (2002–2003).
He ran for President four times until winning the 2014 election.[1]
