Rock Lee & His Ninja Pals is an anime based on Naruto spin-off manga created by Kenji Taira, Rock Lee no Seishun Full-Power Ninden. It was announced in February 2012 by Shueisha.[1] It is produced by Studio Pierrot and directed by Masahiko Murata. The series started being aired on TV Tokyo on April 3, 2012.[2] Crunchyroll has each episode available online.[3]

The series shows the daily life of ninja Rock Lee from Hidden leaf village. He can only use taijutsu and no other skill like ninjutsu or genjutsu. Episodes show comical scenes and mini-skits to emphasize the characters' goals and thoughts. Rock Lee & His Ninja Pals is the first spin-off anime series that does not follow the main plot of the Naruto Shippuden series. It also uses the original voice actors from the main series. The show ran for one season from 2012 to 2013 and had 51 episodes. As of March 2015, all 51 episodes are available to watch online in the US through Hulu and Neon Alley in English dubbed and subtitled formats.[4]
