Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is an action-adventure video game. It was published by Electronic Arts and was developed by Respawn Entertainment.[1]
It was released on November 15, 2019 for the PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One. It was later released on November 24, 2020 for the Stadia and on June 11, 2021 for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.[2][3][4]
The game is set five years after the events of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. In the game, the player controls Cal Kestis, a Padawan. Kestis is in hiding and trys to help rebuild the Jedi Empire while he is doing chased down by the Galactic Empire.[5]
A sequel titled Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was released on April 28, 2023.[6]
Reception
[change | change source]The game was very well liked by game critics. Critics said that they liked the exploration, action, combat, characters . However, critics didn't like that there was no fast travel or performance issues with the game.[7][8][9][10]
By June 2021, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order had over 20,000,000 players play the game.[11]
It was nominated for Best Action/Adventure Game at the 2020 The Game Awards, as well as Ultimate Game of the Year.[12]
