American Descendants of Slavery

Eptalon has nominated this page for deletion for the reason: Article created in 2021, about an organization of people in the U.S. descended from former slaves. Article also exists at Enwp (en:American Descendants of Slavery). Our article has two main problems though: It consists of 2-3 unsourced sentences. Looking at the Enwp article, the size and impact of the movement is unclear, even though there seem to have been mentions in the press. Searching the internet, the EnWP article pops up quite high on the list. I propose the article be deleted, likely there's little encyclopedic relevance. What do other people think? Keep – I support keeping this page. The article is now referenced, and the subject has received sufficient coverage in reputable sources to meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines. The English Wikipedia (EnWP) article provides numerous reliable sources that demonstrate the notability and significance of the American Descendants of Slavery movement. Instead of deletion, improving this article with content and citations from the EnWP article would address the issues raised while preserving relevant information about this organization.
