     John fitz Geoffrey, Lord of Shere was the son of Geoffrey fitz Piers, 3rd Earl of Essex and Aveline de Clare. He married Isabel le Bigod, daughter of Hugh le Bigod, 3rd Earl of Norfolk and Matilda Marshal, before 12 April 1234. He died on 23 November 1258.
     He gained the title of Lord of Shere. He held the office of Justiciar [Ireland]. He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.1

     Isabel le Bigod was born circa 1212 at Thetford, Norfolk, EnglandG.2 She was the daughter of Hugh le Bigod, 3rd Earl of Norfolk and Matilda Marshal. She married, firstly, Gilbert de Lacy, son of Walter de Lacy, Lord of Meath and Margaret de Braose, in 1225.1,2 She married, secondly, John fitz Geoffrey, Lord of Shere, son of Geoffrey fitz Piers, 3rd Earl of Essex and Aveline de Clare, before 12 April 1234. She died in 1250.2

Hugh le Bigod, 3rd Earl of Norfolk1

     Hugh le Bigod, 3rd Earl of Norfolk was the son of Roger le Bigod, 2nd Earl of Norfolk and Ida de Tosny.1 He married Matilda Marshal, daughter of William Marshal, 1st Earl of Pembroke and Isabella de Clare, Countess of Pembroke, circa 1207. He died circa 11 February 1225.
     He gained the title of 3rd Earl of Norfolk.

     Maud d'Aubigny was the daughter of William d'Aubigny, 3rd Earl of Arundel and Mabel of Chester.1 She married Gilbert, 3rd Earl of Strathearn, son of Fertheth, 2nd Earl of Strathearn and Ethen (?).2 She married Robert de Tateshal.1 She died after 1210.2

     Geoffrey fitz Piers, 3rd Earl of Essex was born before 1170. He was the son of Piers de Lutegareshale and Maud de Mandeville.2 He married, firstly, Beatrice de Say, daughter of William de Say and unknown wife (?), on 25 January 1184/85.3 He married, secondly, Aveline de Clare, daughter of Roger de Clare, 2nd Earl of Hertford, before 29 May 1205. He died on 14 October 1213.1
     He gained the title of 3rd Earl of Essex in 1199.

     Aveline de Clare was the daughter of Roger de Clare, 2nd Earl of Hertford. She married Geoffrey fitz Piers, 3rd Earl of Essex, son of Piers de Lutegareshale and Maud de Mandeville, before 29 May 1205. She died before 4 June 1225.

     Roger de Clare, 2nd Earl of Hertford was born after 1115. He was the son of Richard fitz Gilbert and Alice de Meschines.2,3 He married Matilda de St. Hilary du Harcouet, daughter of Jacques de St. Hilary du Harcouet, before 1173.1 He died in 1173.1
     He succeeded as the 5th Lord of Clare [feudal baron] in 1152.4 He succeeded as the 2nd Earl of Hertford [E., c. 1138] in 1152.4 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.5

     Charlotte Sybil Taylor was born circa 1956.2 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Richard Ian Griffith Taylor and Hon. Cecily Eveline Berry.1 She married Hon. Charles Richard Beaumont, son of Wentworth Hubert Charles Beaumont, 3rd Viscount Allendale and Hon. Sarah Field Ismay, on 27 October 1979.1 She died on 17 June 2013 at Hexham, Northumberland, England.2
     From 27 October 1979, her married name became Beaumont.1
