Represents the portion of the city bounded primarily by I-20 on the south, portions of Matlock Road, Fielder Road and Bowen Road on the east, Lake Arlington on the west, and I-30 on the northeast. District 4 includes The Parks at Arlington Mall, a portion of the I-20 business corridor and the training facilities for the Police and Fire departments.

Andrew was born in Arlington in 1972, and attended both Ditto Elementary and Young Junior High, going on to graduate from Martin High School in 1990. Andrew has been married since 1998 to Anna Evans Piel, and they have two daughters, Elena and Lara.

Professional Background/Memberships

Andrew began his career as an attorney in 1997 by becoming a Member of the Texas State Bar. He first worked as an assistant district attorney in the Tarrant County District Attorney's Office, where he gained extensive jury trial experience. He then transitioned into civil litigation practice in 1999, and has been with his law firm, Harrison Steck, P.C., since 2003, making partner in 2005. Andrew is also a certified mediator. In 2019, Andrew was named a Texas Super Lawyer in Construction Law by Thomson Reuters. He is the former chair & vice chair of the Tarrant County Bar Construction Law Section.
