Filming is still underway on the second season of Netflix’s smash hit “Wednesday” which kicked off its sophomore production in May in Ireland – the shoot is expected to wrap sometime this Fall.
Jenna Ortega returns as Wednesday Addams with her onscreen family members – Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams, and Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams – all upped to series regulars this year along with Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo as Deputy Ritchie Santiago.
Returning first-season series regulars include Emma Myers as Enid, Joy Sunday as Bianca, Hunter Doohan as Tyler, Victor Dorobantu as Thing, Moosa Mostafa as Eugene and Georgie Farmer as Ajax.
Fred Armisen will guest star return as Uncle Fester while joining the fun are Joanna Lumley as Grandmama Addams, Steve Buscemi as Principal Barry Dort, along with Thandiwe Newton, Billie Piper, Frances O’Connor, Noah Taylor, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo, Joonas Suotamo, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter and the one and only Christopher Lloyd.
Showrunners Al Gough and Miles Millar are back, as is executive producer Tim Burton who, once again is helming four episodes of the new season.
The second season of “Wednesday” is expected to air sometime in 2025 on Netflix.
