The Monthly Climate Status of Germany includes a Germany-wide review of the weather of the past month, including a climatological classification and a view of the following month.

  • Monthly values of urban climate of 8 pairs of stations (surrounding countryside and city) for temperature, climate indices, urban heat island, precipitation and wind
  • Daily values ​​for snow depths and wind peaks

The download includes a PDF with texts, graphics, tables and maps as well as data tables in .xls and .pdf formats within a common zip file.

The Monthly Climate Status Germany (Monatlicher Klimastatus Deutschland) has been published since January 2018. All data generally refers to the reference period 1981-2010 in the editions for years 2018 to 2020 and to the 1991-2020 reference period from the January 2021 edition onwards. The texts are usually based on a selection of stations. Starting with September 2020 issue, the report und the tables (excel format) meet accessibility standards.
