Bakonchytsi

Bakonchytsi [Bakončyci] (Polish: Bakończyce). Village in Peremyshl county, now belonging to Poland (Subcarpathia voivodeship). In 1919 the Poles established a prisoner of war camp for the soldiers of the Ukrainian Galician Army at Bakonchytsi. Because of poor conditions many prisoners perished there.
