Well the back cover is actually a glossy plastic held with little bit glue, but this make replacing the battery is easy, after 8 years the glue got hardened and the back cover came off by itself.

A7 2016 was built same like a flagship! It had a premium in hand feel with glass back . Now a days midrange phone ships with plastic back , no complaints plastic is more durable,

If Samsung woud build this phone evry year or 2 and just upgrade it I would never have another phone even the a5 or a3 2016 ....best phone I had till today compared with the specific year ITS PERFECTION
