Featured review
Tim Ryan hopes to get a peaceful weekend away from the hub-bub by going camping with Irene Ryan. Unfortunately for him, her destructive, nit-witted relatives insist on coming along.
I'd never noticed it before, but Ryan has a Ted Healy manner of performing with his troupe, and everyone else offers themselves as stooges, albeit without any eye poking. I don't find this sort of purely destructive sort of comedy particularly amusing, but there's no disputing it has its fans.
The Ryans divorced in 1943. Tim died in 1956 at the age of 57. Irene went on working most notably as Granny in THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES. She died in 1973 at the age of 70.
