Dmitry Chepovetsky wears white gloves in every scene as Nikola Tesla became a germaphobe after nearly dying of cholera as a teenager.

Goofs
The dog to be executed was placed inside a metal cage. This would act as a Faraday cage and actually protect the dog. This would have been known at the time the show is set and certainly would have been discovered during previous demonstrations.

Electric power and electrocution

A bunch of inventors are in town and wanting to introduce a new form of electricity.

A dog is placed in a metal cage and the wires connected to the cage.The dog will get electrocuted in front of the crowd to show this experiment works. In the crowd there is a woman that does not want to see animals used like this and is outspoken about it. She argues with the presenters and calls them names.

The switch for this presentation is pulled by a woman. She is electrocuted instead of the dog. Someone tampered with the wires. This is a episode of scientist that are jealous of one another so the police think one of them was targeted to die by pulling the switch.

Murdoch talks the host of this electric presentation to give the dog to the woman that does not want to see animals killed and he starts his investigation. George the policeman is infatuated with this lady and he uses the excuse to visit her and ask her if he could take the dog for a walk.

Officer George Crabtree adds a lot to this series. He is funny and smart. I probably like his role more then Murdoch.

Two people are murdered in this episode but good ending as usual.
