Live Irish Music at Coney Island Brewery
On Sunday, April 9, the taproom in Coney Island will come alive with an Irish musical performance from Liz Hanley.
Liz was raised in an Irish family in Boston and is becoming quite the name in the world of traditional Irish music.

She has performed in the US, Ireland, and the UK. Tickets to her performance at Coney Island Brewery between 3pm and 5pm are available to purchase here.
A Tribute to Mick Moloney at the Irish Arts Center
Irish American trad music hero Mick Moloney will be honored with a special concert series at the Irish Arts Center in New York from March 30 to April 1.
The shows will see over two dozen artists come together to celebrate the late musician's legacy.
The shows are directed by Athena Tergis and Seamus Egan and will feature artists who say they have been influenced by Moloney.
They include Nora Brown, Jean Butler, Donie Carroll, Liz Carroll, Brenda Castles, Stephanie Coleman, Cheick Hamala Diabate, Brendan Dolan, Megan Downes, Seamus Egan, Donny Golden, Ivan Goff, Jefferson Hamer, Liz Hanley, Kieran Jordan, James Keane, Tamar Korn, Dan Levinson, Joanie Madden and Cherish the Ladies, Billy McComiskey, Dan Neely, Eamon O’Leary, Niall O’Leary, John Roberts, and Leni Sloan.
Tickets are on sale now for between $25 and $65 on the center's website.
Café Concert Series: Clare Sands
The Irish Arts Center's free Café Concert Series continues with a performance from Clare Sands, a unique artist who blends Irish tradition with contemporary influences to create a sound that is a true treat.
The concert takes place on Thursday, March 23 at 8pm, and it is free to attend.
Shilelagh Law 25 Years of Making Noise
Shilelagh Law 25 Years of Making Noise takes place at Moriarty's Bar and Live Music Venue on McLean Avenue in Yonkers on Friday, April 14 at 9pm.
There will be five musicians performing original songs as well as Irish classics, promising a lively evening for anyone who buys tickets.
Aoife Scott at Tompkins Corners Cultural Center
On Friday, March 24, Tompkins Corners Cultural Center in Putnam Valley, NY, will play host to one of the most exciting acts in traditional Irish music.
Aoife Scott is the daughter of Frances Black and the niece of Mary Black and has made her own mark on Irish music.
Having won a string of awards including Hotpress Readers Poll Best Folk/Trad 2021 and ASLR Celtic Music Awards Female Vocalist of the Year 2020, things are only going up for Aoife. And Putnam locals will have the chance to enjoy Aoife's musical offerings at her show this month with tickets on sale on Eventbrite.
Irish Music Festival, Orangeburg
Bergen Irish Pipe Band's annual Irish Music Festival at the Rockland GAA returns on Saturday, June 10.
Those attending can expect to enjoy vendors, food, a bar, a pipe band, and lots more Irish music.
Announced to be performing at the event so far are The Narrowbacks, Cousins Moran, and Sheridan Ruitin. Tickets can be purchased here.
