Former troubled actor Lindsay Lohan’s star continues to shine across the streaming universe. The ex-teen idol, whose career stalled in the early 2000s due to drugs, partying, and alcohol offenses, saw her latest original Netflix movie, Irish Wish, generate 1 million U.S. household views for the romantic comedy during the first 72 hours after the title’s March 15 debut.
By comparison, Lohan’s 2022 winter holiday movie, Falling for Christmas, generated 989,000 U.S. households in the first 72 hours following its Nov. 10 debut.
Household viewership for Irish Wish outpaced viewership for Falling for Christmas by 3%. “Wish” was driven by older millennial households (ages 35-44), which over-indexed by 6% based on viewership.
