We are currently running a test on the English-language Wikipedia, in which 50 percent of newly-created accounts have the VisualEditor as their default editor. This test is scheduled to end by 1 July, and we will post the data as soon as we have it available.

Quantitative data

Preliminary results are now available at meta:Research:VisualEditor's effect on newly registered editors/Results. Note that this report is currently still a draft, and we're still in the process of analyzing all data and fully documenting the results of the A/B test.
