Motivation
[edit]During our (Wikimedia Eesti (Q12379207)) talks with National Library of Estonia (Q609471) the library expressed an interest on having their IDs (or, more specifically, the IDs of the consortium of Estonian libraries they head, ELNET Consortium (Q12361408)) added to Wikidata. National Library of Estonia (Q609471) has been working on making them available through VIAF, with plans to also make them directly available through their own website in the future. - Support Can we clarify what we're talking about? The provided exemples are referring to the "ERRR ID", not the "ELNET ID". For example, Eeva Heinaru (Q24545716) has the "a11174882" ID on this page, but it is called "ERRR ID". --Deansfa (talk) 15:56, 15 January 2019 (UTC)
- @Deansfa: I was told by the ERRR people (ERRR = Eesti Rahvusraamatukogu = National Library of Estonia (Q609471)) that while they were listed there as "their" IDs, in fact they're the IDs of the entire ELNET Consortium (Q12361408)) and that they'd want to store them as such.--Reosarevok (talk) 09:48, 21 January 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks for the explanation Reosarevok. --Deansfa (talk) 14:52, 21 January 2019 (UTC)
