Motivation
[edit]I became aware of this materials repository, and thought it would be great to integrate with Wikidata. The website needs a sign-in, but after that is openly available. 99of9 (talk) 06:51, 1 September 2021 (UTC)

- Support as nominator. --99of9 (talk) 06:51, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
- Support open-access database, and we should support this big data approach in battery materials discovery --Erfurth (talk) 07:00, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
- Support . About the VO2 example: are these two different items (polymorphs)? --SCIdude (talk) 07:01, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
- Yes, these are polymorphs. So, for example one might be the stable phase at standard conditions and the other a high temperature or high pressure phase. Wikidata may choose to split them into different items sometimes, but otherwise they could be qualified by their space group and conditions of formation. --99of9 (talk) 07:45, 1 September 2021 (UTC)

- Support The database is clearly well established, widely used and has sustainability. I'm not keen on a sign-in requirement as this makes it difficult to link from infoboxes, but contents are CC BY and therefore re-usable. Petermr (talk) 07:25, 2 September 2021 (UTC)

- Support High quality database. Do you mean sign in to search? Because I have no problem following the links in the proposal... --Azertus (talk) 12:00, 19 September 2021 (UTC)
