Motivation
The Mormon Literature and Creative Arts Database is a great source for birthdays and the religious status of various authors. It includes some authors who have ties to Mormonism but did not identify as Mormon (like Zenna Henderson) as well as currently Mormon authors. It also links works to reviews of them (as seen in the Ender's game example), and authors to their works. This is my first time proposing a property, so please help me learn if I've omitted important information. Rachel Helps (BYU) (talk) 21:32, 9 July 2018 (UTC)

- Comment Why not one ID for people and another one for works? --Gerwoman (talk) 16:09, 10 July 2018 (UTC)
- @Rachel Helps (BYU): Hi - This sounds useful; I've altered the examples to show the id format which these would have (which is fine). However, there can only be one primary formatter URL; as Gerwoman suggested just above, you probably need to propose two separate properties here. The other alternative is to include the prefix in the identifiers, for example "people/zenna-chlarson-henderson" or "works/enders-game", but I think two properties is fine for this. The size of the dataset seems certainly sufficient compared to some other identifier properties we have, so I'd encourage making this two proposals (you could change this one to be for people, and create another for works, for example). - Comment This needs to be split into two proposals. It is untenable as currently drafted. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 20:30, 10 July 2018 (UTC)
- Thank you for your comments. Splitting the proposal makes sense to me. I took out the information about works in this proposal and made a new proposal for it. What do you think of it now? Rachel Helps (BYU) (talk) 16:01, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
- Support looks good! ArthurPSmith (talk) 17:35, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
