Discussion
[edit]- How is this different from copyright holder (P3931)? Multichill (talk) 12:01, 3 September 2023 (UTC)
- copyright ≠ phonographic copyright, they represented two distinct rights and their respective rights holders will typically (but not always) be different entities. In my opinion it would be really useful to separate the two (© and ℗) to help with querying in the music field and to avoid conflation. Moebeus (talk) 07:43, 18 September 2023 (UTC)

- Oppose As proposed. It's unclear why this is supposed to be a ID/identifier. ChristianKl ❪✉❫ 21:01, 19 January 2024 (UTC)
- @ChristianKl: It has item datatype, so I don't see where it was said to be supposed to be a ID/identifier? ArthurPSmith (talk) 16:51, 22 January 2024 (UTC)
- The proposed property description calls it an identifier. It also fails to explain what "Phonographic Copyright" happens to be. ChristianKl ❪✉❫ 22:16, 23 January 2024 (UTC)
- @Multichill, ArthurPSmith:, would you like to give your opinion? Regards, ZI Jony (Talk) 05:21, 24 January 2024 (UTC)

- @Eurohunter: Please write a better (English) description, we have some sticklers here for good descriptions. ArthurPSmith (talk) 01:35, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
- @ArthurPSmith: It works the same way as record label (P264) which is different for phonographic copyright. Eurohunter (talk) 19:06, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
- @Eurohunter: The word "identifier" in the description in your proposal template here is wrong - please change it. ArthurPSmith (talk) 19:11, 26 January 2024 (UTC)

- That wasn't a very useful change. I modified it some more, is this accurate for what you are trying to do here? ArthurPSmith (talk) 21:42, 29 January 2024 (UTC)
- @ArthurPSmith: I didn't see the answer, but it looks good. Eurohunter (talk) 18:33, 6 February 2024 (UTC)
