Motivation
[edit]As Corona seems to be a never ending challenge I feel Wikipedia/Wikidata can be part of this challenge and have information about were an organization publish more information/status reports and then it can easier be used in Wikidata driven Templates on Wikipedia.
- User case: As interested of knowledge of the Corona status of a place where is the official information"
- see list how in Sweden many administrational units add Covid info on <url>/corona sv:Wikipedia:Projekt_svenska_kommuner/corona

Discussion
[edit]- Strong oppose as a statement on the place, but Neutral if and only if it is placed on the "COVID-19 pandemic in (place)" item. Mahir256 (talk) 19:49, 7 November 2020 (UTC)
- Commentplease add an user case explaining what you see of interest - Salgo60 (talk) 10:28, 8 November 2020 (UTC)
- Strong oppose there's no need for a new property for this. --Tinker Bell ★ ♥ 19:52, 7 November 2020 (UTC)
- Strong oppose Per above -Premeditated (talk) 20:26, 7 November 2020 (UTC)
- Comment as every type of organization ends up stating their approach of dealing with it, how about calling it differently?, e.g. COVID policy? This could be similar to properties like privacy policy URL (P7101), terms of service URL (P7014), charter URL (P6378). Using just "information" could somehow suggest we want to model information by author (which I think we don't want to). I'd avoid using it on country items. For countries, the country data pages probably already include some of it, but adding random organizations there might not be of much use. --- Jura 05:21, 8 November 2020 (UTC)
- Comment my thought its the page of the official administration body - Salgo60 (talk) 03:09, 9 November 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose this is a temporary url and will be gone in a few years time. Properties should generally not be expected to have an end date. Ainali (talk) 13:31, 8 November 2020 (UTC)
- maybe interesting for historical researchers ;-) - Salgo60 (talk) 13:42, 8 November 2020 (UTC)
- I'd think the opposite is true. --- Jura 15:02, 8 November 2020 (UTC)
