Motivation
We have around 58k items with instance of (P31): sports season of a sports club (Q1539532) type. It is currently difficult to relate them to the team/club which played the season.
The property sports season of league or competition (P3450) does not fit here, as it works like SEASON → P3450 → LEAGUE. Another alternative would be to use the generic facet of (P1269), but since this would also need to hold the leagues/competitions at which the team/club participated (see parallel proposal Wikidata:Property proposal/sports competition competed at), this approach seems to be undesirable. —MisterSynergy (talk) 06:05, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
