Dear community, I would like to present Aldnonymous as a candidate for adminship today. Aldnonymous has been very active on Wikidata recently and can use the admin tools well in my opinion. As a user, he is friendly and pleasant to communicate with, and also a helpful and altruistic individual. In addition, he is a precise and conscientious worker. He has filed a lot of valid RfDs such that I trust his judgement that he can perform admin actions on his own without asking for administrator assistance. Furthermore, he is a native speaker of the Indonesian language and that would be extremely beneficial as well. We have an id-N sysop on Wikidata, but he has been rather inactive. Therefore, we could use the help of another Indonesian speaker. He is also a Meta and idwiki administrator, which means he has demonstrated administrator experience. Even though he has access to the tools here as a global sysop, it would be better if he can delete empty items here after deleting the relevant articles on Indonesian projects. I hope the community agrees with me. Jianhui67 talk★contribs 15:09, 18 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- I Accept, further statement by me, currently I'm actively doing deletion on any small wiki, especially Indonesian Wiki sister projects, this causing me always made a bulk deletion request on Wikidata:Requests for deletions, I assume this activity will continue to happen as we are (indonesian sister wiki projects) currently understaffed to carry the deletion, this Admin bits will help me reduce the workload of RfD for Item that came from Indonesian sister projects considerably. Thank you for reading this statement.AldNonUcallinme? 15:45, 18 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry. --AmaryllisGardener talk 03:41, 22 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
NeutralProbably wouldn't misuse the tools, but I would expect to see better communication skills than as displayed here: [1][2] --Rschen7754 16:49, 18 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]- Hi there, @Rschen7754:, I know the fault lies in me, but he made a comment that have no connection whatsoever with Global Rollback request, and he accuse Me, Jianhui67, Nahidsultan, Matiia and Grind24 of oppressing minorities (How can Wikimedian oppress minorities anyway?), I am angered by this baseless comment, I won't ask for forgiveness but at least, please understand my feeling on this. Thank you.AldNonUcallinme? 17:16, 18 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose After some thought, I have to move to oppose. Being a good administrator is more than knowing how to use the tools, it is being able to communicate effectively across different cultures, especially on a multilingual project like this. I realize people have bad days every once in a while, but the diffs below indicate a significant pattern of provocative behavior that tends to inflame problems rather than solve them, that is more than just a "bad day". As far as language issues, the candidate claims to be en-4 on their global userpage, so in theory this should not be an issue. --Rschen7754 01:22, 21 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

So they can stop slacking and nagging me to do stuffPer nom. Good user, already a global sysop, no concerns. :P He also has a large variety of language skills, which would come in useful. --George (Talk · Contribs · CentralAuth · Log) 07:28, 19 April 2015 (UTC)[reply] - Support Eurodyne (talk) 19:12, 19 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose per Rschen7754. Two wrongs don't make a right, so reacting in that fashion is inappropriate.--Jasper Deng (talk) 19:17, 19 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Weak supportI suspect the communications issues are more language based than anything else, and you have experience. But please be careful! StevenJ81 (talk) 14:43, 20 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]- Oppose Changed after reading posts linked by Mh7kJ. Look, AldNon probably won't abuse the tools, but that's not the way for an administrator to speak in public. And an administrator is pretty much always in public. - Oppose per Rschen7754 and Jasper Deng, and I have additional diffs which prove that his apparent communication issues are not restricted to just the two situations shown by Rschen7754: Here, here, here and here are just a few additional examples of where I felt his communication skills were severely lacking and not at all what I would expect from an administrator; indeed, the latter part of this comment in particular is plain rude in nature. This is only what I found from a ten-minute look through his edits, so it is reasonable to assume that there will be even more examples. Consequently, while like Rschen7754 I am confident that he would not abuse the rights, I do not feel he communicates with others in the friendly and professional manner I would expect from an admin. -Mh7kJ (talk) 16:37, 20 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- @Mh7kJ: Which was weird, since only 1 of those comment are actually rude to me, the rest are okay In my opinion, or was I wrong? I don't know... It's probably my fault since there are many people saying it's wrong. I am sorry for this continued outburst since the grants still going on.AldNonUcallinme? 16:45, 20 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]- To @SPQRobin, Jasper Deng, Rschen7754:, I am sorry, that's my slip of tongue, and probably I don't know the commenter means (language problem or something else) it's totally my fault for letting my anger get the better of me, if you notice, that edit was made on the same day/date it's probably one of my bad day when I have a bad mood and don't let me think clearly. I hope you guys accept this comment as apology, thank you.AldNonUcallinme? 16:17, 20 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
