Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Catégorisation et blasonnement

Bonjour,

J'ai vu passer vos récentes contributions au projet blasons. Merci de votre implication. Pour aller plus loin, il serait intéressant d'ajouter les blasonnements en français sur vos images pour simplifier les recherches et en complément faire référence aux catégories en lien avec vos dessins.

Exemples de catégories :

• category:SVG coats of arms of France
• category:Coats of arms of Gascogne
• category:Eagles in heraldry
• category:Lions in heraldry
• category:Bends in heraldry

Si jamais vous avez du mal à trouver le nom anglais des catégories, vous pouvez vous aider de l'article de correspondance.

Si le coeur vous en dit, vous pouvez également utiliser le modèle {{COAInformation}} au lieu du standard {{Information}}.

Embedded raster images in SVGs

Hi! (Unfortunately I don't speak French.) Thank you for contributing so many coats of arms. I noticed that almost all of the SVGs you have uploaded consist entirely of a single embedded PNG. It might be better to upload those PNGs directly instead of wrapping them in an SVG. TilmannR (talk) 17:29, 15 October 2018 (UTC)

Hey TilmannR ! Thanks a lot :) Yes about the SVGs, I upload them because PNGs show a white square behind the drawing when you put them in a grey familly box (I'm not 200% sure about that, but I think I saw this...). All the best, --Berry-Touraine2 (talk) 21:47, 15 October 2018 (UTC)

@Berry-Touraine2: I just looked at a preview of fr:Famille de Meaulne where Écu de la famille de Meaulne.svg is replaced with a random PNG and I couldn't see any issues with the transparency. Do you have a specific example where PNGs don't work? It can probably be fixed. TilmannR (talk) 09:15, 16 October 2018 (UTC)

Hey TilmannR. Yes u r right : I just tried a PNG on the page fr:Famille de Meaulne and it's ok. So i will make PNGs (that btw are much easier to make then SVGs :) ). All the best, --Berry-Touraine2 (talk) 17:32, 18 October 2018 (UTC)
