Our first steps tour and our frequently asked questions will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy (Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content).

You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold when contributing and assume good faith when interacting with others. This is a wiki.

Getting help

More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump.

Goodies, tips, and tricks

Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.
There are several tools to upload files.
Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful.

Made a mistake?

Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it.
Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Salut,

Je vois que tu as commencé à mettre en ligne tes photos prises hier chez nos voisins normands. Afin de rassembler les photos prises dans la journée, je t'invite à y ajouter la Category:Wikis take Mortainais. Bien sûr, il n'y a pas d'obligation, mais, si HaguardDuNord te repère, il risque de te condamner à ingurgiter des croque-monsieur mortainais jusqu'à la fin de tes jours

Il y a plusieurs façons pour modifier « en masse » des fichiers. Je viens d'utiliser VisualFileChange (à activer via ta page javascript et qui demande un peu d'expérience, voir le lien pour plus d’explications). Sinon, il existe aussi HotCat (à activer sur Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-gadgets) qui est plus simple mais bien pratique quand il s’agit « juste » de déplacer des fichiers d’une catégorie à une autre.

@HaguardDuNord : il est bien trop appétissant pour venir de Mortain ton croque-monsieur

Bonjour,

Quand vous avez mis à jour File:Rennes lignes métro prolongements.svg, vous avez accidentellement fait "foirer" l'affichage du point de la station Viasilva (il doit être identique à celui de l'autre terminus de la ligne B). Pourriez-vous corriger cela ?

Accessoirement, serait-il possible de prendre en photo les stations aériennes de la ligne ? Je sais qu'il y a les histoires de liberté de panorama, mais il y a toujours des astuces pour contourner. Lyon-St-Clair (talk) 18:47, 27 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Bonjour, j'arrive pas à m'expliquer ce souci d'affichage, le fichier rend correctement dans le navigateur et l'éditeur. Je viens de faire une copie exacte du noeud de l'autre terminus, ce qui à priori a résolu le problème (peut-être une balise SVG mal formatée ?). Pour les stations aériennes c'est noté, en sachant que certaines d'entres elles sont visibles sur Mapillary (photos CC-By-Sa, avec possibilité d'import direct dans Commons). Les photos sont pas toujours top, mais à défaut ça peut être mieux que rien dans certains cas. Cordialement. --PanierAvide (talk) 19:12, 27 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
