Description
English: Subdivision of a Larger Merosome into Smaller Units While arrested at a sinusoidal bifurcation, a medium-sized merosome releases a smaller unit which is rapidly swept away by the bloodstream. Note the large number of mature merozoites inside the merosome. The video shows intravital confocal microscopy of a mouse liver 52 h after intravenous infection with PyGFP sporozoites. Total recording time: 2 min and 36 s.
