Merci de ta confiance

Cher Elfix,
^v^
^v^

[edit]

Cfr ton message.

217.136.68.192 11:53, 10 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File:Logo XMPP.svg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Hi Elfix, you're now a filemover. When moving files please respect the following advice:

  • Use the CommonsDelinker link in the {{Rename}} template to order a bot to replace all ocurrences of the old title with the new one. Or, if there was no rename-request, please use the Move & Replace-tab.
  • Please leave a redirect behind unless you have a valid reason not to do so. Other projects, including those using InstantCommons, might be using the file even though they don't show up in the global usage. Deleting the redirects would break their file references. Please see this section of the file rename guideline for more information.
  • Please know and follow the file rename guidelines.

Category:Coins of Louis XI of France

[edit]

Renaming is wrong. Louis is NOT on every single coin relased during his regn, so please revert. It is also not in accordance with the usual naming convention (see category:Coins of France). You can use your category as sub-category, but do not delete the original one. Thanks --Sailko (talk) 13:09, 29 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

IF I say something "on" coins it means it is depicted on the coin. In none of those coins louis xi was on, so it is obvious the category name is wrong. See the category of Louis xiv: some coins have the king on ( category:Louis xiv on coins) some don't (category:coins of Louis xiv). It is false all those categories were done by the same user, check more carefully. For many coins we can only say under which king they were released (so coins "of" that king), for other we can say what's on, it:s something completely different. --Sailko (talk) 06:01, 31 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

OTRS sur les médias de Billy69150 ?

[edit]

Elfix 09:38, 30 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Important message for file movers

[edit]

A community discussion has been closed where the consensus was to grant all file movers the suppressredirect user right. This will allow file movers to not leave behind a redirect when moving files and instead automatically have the original file name deleted. Policy never requires you to suppress the redirect, suppression of redirects is entirely optional.

Possible acceptable uses of this ability:

  • To move recently uploaded files with an obvious error in the file name where that error would not be a reasonable redirect. For example: moving "Sheep in a tree.jpg" to "Squirrel in a tree.jpg" when the image does in fact depict a squirrel.
  • To perform file name swaps.
  • When the original file name contains vandalism. (File renaming criterion #5)

Please note, this ability should be used only in certain circumstances and only if you are absolutely sure that it is not going to break the display of the file on any project. Redirects should never be suppressed if the file is in use on any project. When in doubt, leave a redirect. If you forget to suppress the redirect in case of file name vandalism or you are not fully certain if the original file name is actually vandalism, leave a redirect and tag the redirect for speedy deletion per G2.

The malicious or reckless breaking of file links via the suppressredirect user right is considered an abuse of the file mover right and is grounds for immediate revocation of that right. This message serves as both a notice that you have this right and as an official warning. Questions regarding this right should be directed to administrators. --Majora (talk) 21:35, 7 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Lili structure

[edit]

Elfix, I just noticed you created File:LinguaLibre_-_Data_Model_Overview.svg. We created a bunch of new properties in past year. Do you thing you could re-generate this graphs ? Should we edit it by hand from now on ? Yug (talk) 21:44, 12 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yug, I do not think it should be edited by hand. I simply submitted the ontology file (given in the description of the file) and this came out. You can manually adjust the layout so it is easier to read. Do you have a list of these new properties for me to add into the ontology? Alternatively, you can directly modify the ontology, save the file and load it into WebVOWL, and fix the layout using the regular controls. Let me know. Elfix 14:51, 5 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
File:LinguaLibre_-_Data_Model_Overview.svg or its talkpage could contain a minimal tutorial on how to refresh this diagrams.
  1. Lingualibre:Special:ListProperties — The list of current properties
  2. Properties to OWL — how ? using a query or do you write it by hand ?
  3. OWL to SVG — Upload ontology file to WebVOWL.
  4. Adjust SVG — If necessary, adjust SVG by in Inkscape or alternative.
The list of properties have been expanded a lot. Maybe do a File:{title}-basic.svg vs File:{title}-detailed.svg.
Could you edit the point 2) above according to your practice ? Yug (talk) 11:14, 6 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yug for (4) I suggest simply fixing the layout directly from WebVOWL, the regular controls (mouse dragging/dropping, scrolling) can be used.
For (2), I initially wrote the OWL ontology by hand given the low number of properties. It is basic RDF schema (RDFS) where you define these axioms for each property:
llp:P17 # URI of the property to describe
a owl:DatatypeProperty ; # Type of property (DatatypeProperty if property points to a literal, e.g. string/integer; ObjectProperty if property points to other resource)
rdfs:domain ll:Q4 ; # The resource onto which you will (normally) use this property (in this case P17 should be used with Q4).
rdfs:range xsd:string ; # The type of resource/literal that will normally be the target of this property (in this case, a string should be provided with P17).
rdfs:label "Wikimedia language code"@en ; # A friendly label that will display in the WebVOWL generated SVG.
  .
Literals will be printed as a yellow rectangle; other resources will be printed as a round.
I did not describe the resources (Q2, Q3...) but simply imported their definitions into the ontology as can be seen at the top of the ontology, so we can get their friendly labels directly as defined from LinguaLibre.
Note that RDFS is normally used to provide basic inferencing capabilities on an RDF dataset. Here, we are only using it to generate a diagram as WebVOWL accepts ontologies in the RDFS vocabulary. Since I lack context, I cannot give an example out of this list of properties; can you maybe explain one of these properties if you need me to give an example to get you started? Hackathon 2022

[edit]

Hello Elfix, there is the Hackathon page i wanted to share with you : Lingualibre:LinguaLibre:Events#2022_Hackathon, please check this up, especially the Framadate. You are welcome to join us, on our side we will be in working mode on Lili. Our phabricator has few SPARQL-related tickets but not much. Yug (talk) 10:58, 10 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Elfix,
Outside of the phabricator we also have a "new" lingualibre:Help:SPARQL serie (3 pages), which needs review and possibly to optimize SPARQLs queries with any syntaxe best practices you may know.
If you identify tickets or issues you would like to tackle or if you would like to pass by, let's join us. Yug (talk) 13:18, 11 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
