Instead of doing this addition manually, why not just add it to the template at Template:Economicsyear? -- Ricky81682 (talk) 18:32, 10 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

People by name / PeopleByName

[edit]

You seem to have embarked on a wholesale removal uses of these templates without understanding the consequences. While in MAY be safe to remove the coding it is frequently included to cover inadequacies in Wikidata. If you must remove it please check that the data you are removing is already in Wikidata. If it is not then please add it to Wikdata before deletion. Best Wishes S a g a C i t y (talk) 14:35, 21 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this bulk change was discussed ahead of time, please add a comment to Template talk:PeopleByName linking to that discussion. If it was not discussed, please add a comment to that page saying what you are doing, why you are doing it, and what checks you have done to make sure there are no unwanted side-effects. Also, link to a log of all pages that you have removed this from if such a log is available. If a log of existing mass-edits is not available, please log your future mass-edits. Despite the notes above I have had to undo 13 of your later deletions. I cannot see what you are aiming at. Perhaps if you would explain I'll try to point you in the right direction. As it is you are deleting data that has been added by other users. This is generally considered to be disruptive editing and may lead to sanctions against you. Right, I was just coming here to ask why you removed People by name from Category:Rosebud Baker. Explain, please? --GRuban (talk) 19:23, 14 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
