AN/UC discussion
[edit]Commons:Administrators'_noticeboard/User_problems#Noticeboard_disruptions_and_cross_wiki_problems – I've leaving this link here so that you can become aware of the discussion and defend yourself. --Michaeldsuarez (talk) 16:51, 8 March 2012 (UTC)
Definitions
[edit]You said that "A person sent to federal prison for possession of child pornography is a pedophile." Are you aware of the meanings of the terms "child pornography" and "pedophile" here?
- "Child pornography", in the context of the law, refers to a pornographic image of someone under the age of 18. (This age is fairly universal across countries that have laws against child pornography).
- "Pedophile" refers to someone who is sexually attracted to children or engages in sexual relations with them, generally with the implication that the child is prepubescent and much younger than them.
There's a pretty large age gap there. Most people would agree that a 18-year-old who has sex with a 17-year-old is not a pedophile, but the law is clear-cut that if they take pictures of it, they're a child pornographer. --Carnildo (talk) 22:48, 14 March 2012 (UTC)
- English is something I have quite a firm grasp on, thanks for your concern over my definition familiarity. I stand by what I said 100%. Tarc (talk) 22:51, 14 March 2012 (UTC)

Apology
[edit]I have included an apology about my un-mellow comment in a reply to you in a recent deletion review. I hope you will be kind enough to accept it Commons:Administrators/Requests/Fæ2#Break. --Fæ (talk) 10:10, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
- No worries, broheim. If your re-admin is successful though, I hope you give the same attention and thoughtfulness to the likely unauthorized/unwanted usage of photos such as File:Mardi Gras Flashing - Color.jpg as you do to photos of yourself. That's a real person there, an image of whom is now eligible for use in hundreds of WMF projects across the globe. Tarc (talk) 16:26, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
