Aircraft numbers
Can someone source the recent changes to the aircraft numbers/types? They sound reasonable (i.e. I'm pretty sure the CN-295 deal was scuppered?) but being sure (i.e. T-34 no longer in service?) would be good. - Aerobird Target locked - Fox One! 15:04, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
I am answering late . i saw your guestion now. the numbers is as you read them at the inventory. their is no C-295 deal. cancelled. the T-34 dont exist . retired. the F-16 , President Chavez said that are 10 in service. the rest exist but no operational. the number of Sukhoi fighter is very possible to increase in future. new tranport and trainer planes will be order. at the present inventory is very possible that some airplanes and helicopters will be donate to other South American coutries , especcialy to Bolivia. John, Athens Greece , May 29.
I changed the f-16 number back to 10. Someone put 21 has operational, and the official reports talk only about 10. All in all, I belive thats the real number of funcional Vipers. Missing type?
Venezuela was supposed to get a fleet of two-seater AMX ground attack warplanes from Italy. What happened to those? 82.131.210.162 (talk) 13:14, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
Falklands/Malvinas War
Where is the brief history of the Venuezuelan Air Force during the Falklands War? If, indeed, Wikipedia is not WP:CENSORed, and a neutral point of view, then it seems the loss of nearly 100 aircraft in a conflict of a couple of months duration would warrant a sentence, or a paragraph, in the History section of the Venezuelan Air Force article. Thoughts? N2e (talk) 21:08, 12 April 2013 (UTC)

Translation?
Uh I honestly think that there should be English translations and equivalent ranks to the US Armed Forces. Can someone fix this? I don't speak Spanish. Faith15 19:56, 5 January 2024 (UTC)
