Cahokia Jazz has received many reviews, including from The Guardian,[3] Los Angeles Times,[4] The New York Times,[5] and The Wall Street Journal.[6] Based on 18 reviews (as of July 2, 2024), the Book Marks aggregate site rates the majority of its reviews as "raves", though it has also received one "positive" review and one "mixed" review.[7]
Cahokia Jazz won the Sidewise Award for Alternate History for novels published in 2023.[8]
