This page is a list of South American saints, blesseds, venerables, and Servants of God, as recognized by the Roman Catholic Church. These people were born, died, or lived their religious life in any of the territories of South America.

The Catholic Church entered South America in 1500 through Brazil and quickly expanded across the continent with the Spanish and Portuguese cultures. Today this area remains heavily Catholic.
