History

It was founded in 1994. The company specializes in developing family friendly video games based on various films as well as the Buzz! Junior and Invizimals series for Sony Interactive Entertainment. It went on an indefinite hiatus since 2015, during which they purchased Cosmonaut Studios, whose game Eternal Threads was released by Secret Mode in 2022.[1]

In October 2007, Magenta Software won the Children's Jury Giga Maus award for Buzz! Junior: Robo Jam[14][non-primary source needed] and, a month later, won a British Academy Children's BAFTA for Buzz! Junior: Jungle Party.[15]
