Subzi Mandi railway station

The Subzi Mandi Delhi railway station is a railway station in the Indian National Capital Territory of Delhi. It serves Subzi Mandi, Pratap Nagar and surrounding areas. The station gets its name from the Mughal-era suburb of "Subzi Mandi", located slightly to the north of the station, which was in turn named after the city's wholesale vegetable market. Subzi Mandi station, constructed in the 1880s, was the first station out of the city on the East Indian Railway main line to Amritsar and Lahore in Punjab.
