I've added information on additional operations of the 2nd Marines in the Pacific with the privledge of getting the information from a 82 year old veteran of the fighting in the Pacific, Cpl Lee Downey of A Company 1st Battalion, 2nd Marines. He was there and we wanted that the article to reflect that. I'll be ordering the unit history put out by the Marine COrps Historical Division, formerly at the Navy Yard in Washington, DC, but now down at Marine Corps Base, Quantico. I'd propose a new name for this section, as my eyes were brought immediately to it due to its conspiratorial connotations in some cases. Just for immediate clarity, a name change seems appropriate, although to what, I do not know. Hkobb7 (talk) 22:25, 22 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
