"Metaphysical"

edit

Does anyone know precisely what the filmmakers mean when they use the word "metaphysical"? There's nothing in the article to indicate a connection to its usual use in philosophy. And if they're using it to mean something else, parhaps as a placeholder word to communicate a vague sense of spirituality and/or mysticism, should Wikipedia be repeating their sloppy usage? No? Well, out it goes then.GideonF (talk) 08:31, 7 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
I've put "metaphysical" back into the article, this time in quotes. I know the term is used rather vaguely, but this is how it appears in many of the supporting references and the article is simply quoting from these references. --Bruce1eetalk 09:22, 7 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Peter Greenaway

edit

In 1980 Peter Greenaway directed a documentary called "Act of God" which is composed of inerviews with people who have been struck by lightning.
