editThere is no evidence to suggest that the system was ever "flawed". It was heavily criticized, yes, but that's not the same thing as having an inherent defect. As a result, I've changed the language to better match the known facts presented by Atari Museum and others.

Modus operandi??

" This means that a new dedicated overlay would have to be put for each game which is different from what the article states "the cartridges only contained the holographic images and a notch to identify what game it was."
