Recently added list of suburbs
editSomebody added a list of suburbs which I have moved to the bottom of the article to avoid having white space at the top of the page. There is a box at the bottow which lists all the suburbs. I know that some people said elsewhere that it doesn't look great, but what do people think - should we have a list of all the suburbs, have a box, or both? -- Adz 05:39, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
- Removed as it is wasted space and duplicated. Garglebutt / (talk) 09:51, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
- To clarify; the box has a lot of good info in a small space. The other town centres should follow this format. Garglebutt / (talk) 21:17, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
- I've added the same kind of box to North Canberra.Garglebutt / (talk) 21:28, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
If you're going to insist on a particular format can we change the other Canberra districts wiki entries to show some consistency? Also, I think the suburbs box would be better situated further up the page, I'd suggest the #1 contents entry. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 202.161.11.52 (talk • contribs) .
OK I have made some edits - didn't see the talk page
editI hope nobody is offended, but I tonight (12 Jan 2012) have made some edits to the "Urban Structure" section. I felt it was a little inaccurate and most particularly was slightly off put to see the description of Belconnen having almost no industry! I am a resident of over 30 years, and well it would hardly make sense that there is no industry. I have edited the previous entry to state that there is almost no 'heavy' industry, I have added some of the significant light and primary industry that supports our community and local economy. i am not affiliated to any of the industries I describe, except perhaps the creative arts, I was once connected to the recycling industry, but am no longer.
I think my entry reads well and assists our community to look attractive, and progressive (which largely it is)to an outside reader. I took some time over this and I am satisfied with it personally, please let me know below if anyone disagrees! P.S. dont know if I am writing this in the right place, but its on the notice board visibly at least. Anyway hope you all like my changes, Dave. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.129.61.177 (talk) 19:39, 11 February 2012 (UTC) P.S. I couldnt work out how to make the wiki hyperlinks for the various suburbs I added, or obviously the hospital CIT UC etc, perhaps somebody can assist? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.129.61.177 (talk) 19:44, 11 February 2012 (UTC)

Charles Campbell Disambiguation
editRegarding the disambiguation of Charles Campbell. I am not sure the section saying the land was sold to Charles Campbell is correct. If it is, then the Charles Campbell it is referring to is one of Robert Campbell (1769–1846)'s sons who does not have a wikipedia article. --Martyman-(talk) 07:02, 14 May 2010 (UTC)
