Congregational church → Congregationalism – This article discusses the tradition broadly rather than a particular church or churches. Move follows wiki naming conventions, see Presbyterianism vs Presbyterian polity or Episcopalianism vs Episcopal polity. See also Congregationalism in the United States. Britannica likewise uses the "ism" term for the tradition rather than the polity. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dirkwillems (talk • contribs) 17:24, 26 March 2024 (UTC) This is a contested technical request (permalink). - This is a primary topic swap, so every link would have to be checked. ("Congregational churches" would also cover the tradition broadly.) Srnec (talk) 01:11, 5 April 2024 (UTC)
- Support per nom. I think the most expected landing point is the religious tradition, and it includes the polity after all. --
