Draft info?
editI think that information on where many draft experts are predicting him to be picked would be useful to the article. Unfortunately, I only have knowledge of Winston from being a Canes fan and from several Bills fans clamoring for the Bills to draft him. I don't really know what draft scouting websites are reliable, so anyone who is a draft shark, feel free to include some information on it. -VetteDude 22:42, 2 February 2006 (UTC)
Editorial info
editThe bracketed part of this statement should be removed. If it can be sourced, the statement should be rewritten for objectivity.
"On October 7, 2012, Winston incorrectly called out the Kansas City Chiefs fans for cheering after an injury to QB Matt Cassel when they were actually cheering the first down that occurred on the same play. {USER NOTE: That last sentence is not true... everyone knew the fans were cheering Cassel's injury} " — Preceding unsigned comment added by 140.142.67.163 (talk) 22:57, 19 March 2014 (UTC)
Proposing some updates for this article
editHello, I'm currently working on behalf of the National Football League Players Association to make some improvements to articles related to their mission, including this page, given Eric Winston's recent election to the office of president. Because I have a financial conflict of interest, I won't make any edits here myself. Instead, I've proposed some improvements below, and I'm hoping that an editor can review these and, if they look okay, go ahead and implement the changes in the article.
First, I'd like to suggest a change in wording to a sentence in the section Kansas City Chiefs. Currently, the sentence reads "On October 7, 2012, Winston called out the Kansas City Chiefs fans due to his perception that the fans were cheering an injury to QB Matt Cassel." However, I feel that the "called out" language is not entirely encyclopedic. I'd suggest we reword this sentence to the following: "On October 7, 2012, Winston spoke out about Kansas City Chiefs fans cheering an injury to QB Matt Cassel."
Second, I'd like to suggest expanding the NFLPA section to include discussion of his work with the union prior to being elected president, as well as some contextual information about his plans for his presidency. My proposed replacement for that section is found below.

Finally, I'd like to suggest that we add a sentence to the end of the "Personal" section, discussing his volunteer work.
