no pruning

I am very grateful that there is a healthy and active interest in the works of Masanobu_Fukuoka. However this is an article about pruning, not about the philosophical underpinnings of a better way of agriculture. I think Mr Masanobu would agree with me in thinking that we should apply the principle of Wu_wei in this case. We should state the case for not pruning here in the simplest possible way and allow those with the Natural Inclination to a different way follow the links if they wish. The article on Masanobu_Fukuoka appears to need some work so that might be a better place to discuss terminology.~~User:TadewiGomda

Large, flavourless fruit

The following statement is unsourced:

"Overpruned trees on the other hand tend to produce light crops of large, flavourless fruit that does not store well."

Would this be the reason why grocery stores now universally stock large, flavourless fruit? If so, mystery solved, I guess. Whether purchased fruit stores well is debatable, considering they remain underripe for an extended period before suddenly rotting.
