I noticed the second note for this article listng the supposed line of descent from the Plantagenets to Leonard Calvert (working backwards: Calvert-Mynne-Wroth-Mortimer-Plantagenet), and decided to research it. I succeeded in tracing Leonard's ancestry to Averia Mortimer, one of his fifth great grandmothers. I found one web page (http://fabpedigree.com/s009/f468698.htm) that identifies Averia's father as a John Mortimer, but it doesn't reveal anything about John, so his connection to the Plantagenets — if any — is also unrevealed; and the page doesn't cite any sources, so this identification is suspect. I have discovered through various sources that Leonard is related to his wife Anne through other connections. I want to modify the "fact" of their common relation through the Plantagenets to instead reflect their common relation through those other connections. Does anyone care to discuss? -JohnAlbertRigali (talk) 16:38, 2 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
