Water supply for Mission/Abby?
editA while back there were plans in the works to make Norrish Creek a drinking water source for Mission, maybe for Abby....did this ever get past planning stages; even if not, mention that the plans had been field and not passed is still the kind of thinkg that can go in the article, provided a citation accompanies it; but is the reason for the gated access maybe because of the possible watershed? "Suicide Creek"
editThis is what we called it back in the '70s, "suicide" to swim in beacuse it's so cold. There was also a hermit who lived up the valley and none of the kids I knew from Dewdney/Nicomen went up in there back then, risking getting fired at, so the stories went; kind of place you dind't go unless you had business to, don't know who the hermit was....Skookum1 (talk) 02:24, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
