Village or river?
editI had a glance at the OS map, and I can find the River Bain, and Bainbridge, near the given map reference, but no Bain. Is this correct? Angus McLellan (Talk) 17:04, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
- Sorted - it's the river, not a village. --GuillaumeTell 18:36, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
Shortest river?
editThe Bain is often claimed to be the shortest river in England, but this depends on definition. It is clearly a tributary of a main river. Can anyone find an authoritative reference or definition? Dbfirs 12:41, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
- In the absence of any authoritative definition, I've removed all claims except "one of the shortest". Dbfirs 06:56, 28 May 2016 (UTC)
