editI lack the knowledge of which bands are major and which are minor players. The ones that are minor should probably be removed from this page, and the ones that are more important should have at least a stub in place in their article. User:Rucky
Revert
editAn IP inserted a lot of good informations in the article. I don't really understand why some people have reverted it. Ok it wasn't very wikified and had to be cleant, but it doesn't mean we have to delete it. The present article is a little ridiculous, the 80s are the best period of french rock (with bands like Noir Désir, Mano Negra, Téléphone, Négresse Vertes, etc), it's not even mentionned in the present article. I'm disappointed. Ajor 23:46, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
Mistake
editFrançoise Hardy only made rock music in the 90's with Le danger. In the 60's it was mostly yéyé and pop music... Where is Jacques Dutronc? The article is incomplete... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.193.16.68 (talk) 12:32, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
Clarification of "French rock"
editThe opening line of this article states that "French rock is a form of rock music produced in the French language. It is produced primarily in France, but also in other francophone countries." Yet the list seems to exclusively consist of artists from France, and the "Word Rock" link box at the bottom of the page suggests that this article is intended to only cover French nationals. If the "French" in this case refers to the country and not the language, then we need to change the intro to reflect that fact. Funnyhat (talk) 19:16, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
