To be seen?
editThe article says that people attend art openings "to be seen". I'm changing that text. I attend art exhibitions to see, not to be seen, and I can see no reason to assume anyone does otherwise. Why on earth would anyone want to be seen? It seems a very odd thing to write. Alpheus (talk) 23:31, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
- You may attend art exhibitions to see, not to be seen, but for other people the opening night is also a social and commercial event. -- Wgsimon (talk) 09:25, 26 September 2014 (UTC)
