Overview

Generally speaking, an evidence pool[1] is used by High School debaters to share "cards" and evidence for CX Debate (aka policy debate). Whilst most debaters rarely join an evidence pool, its benifits are phenomenal. It is for this reason why many debaters choose to join an evidence pool[2]. One of the most obvious benifits is that you can acess a large sum of evidence with a relatively small ammount of evidence that you must submit to the evidence pool itself. However, many members of evidence pools are "leeches". These members download evidence without uploading any for the group. It is for this reason why many debaters are turned down from joining one. These debaters are relectuant to upload evidence to an evidence pool because they feel that they would get little out of it.
