I am among the 15% of women who edit Wikipedia. My primary contributions are original articles about women, and I'm a member of the WikiProject Women in Religion. I live in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, DC, work at its university, and attend mass at a nuns' monastery that was founded in 1795. Author of three books, co-editor of three more (two with a Jesuit), and facilitator of others' writing. My article on why Catholic sisters need Wikipedia pages is here.

Writing interests:

  • Roman Catholic sisters.
  • Catholic peace activists.
  • Women doctors of the late 19th century.
  • Certain aspects of early Hollywood history related to a late and dear friend Vera Gebbert who lived there from her birth in 1916 to 1947, when she left to be a playwright in New York.

These are all original articles.
